1911 Glock Mags - The Alpha Foxtrot is a relative newcomer to the 1911 market. They have been making 1911 parts for over 30 years, but now offer complete firearms. But they have some interesting suggestions that I found interesting. They make 1911 pistols chambered in 9mm with custom covers, but what really caught my eye was their 1911-S15. While those 1911s were interesting, Alpha Foxtrot's 1911-S15 stole the show. Check out the image above. The 1911-S15 Commander is smaller than the 1911. But it's only 15th of a 9mm! Alpha decided to modify the frame on the 1911-S15 to accept the Foxtrot Shield Arms magazine.

The 1911-S15 is small and no compromise for a 1911. It still has the straight pull trigger, light brake, grip safety, and single action you'd expect from a 1911.

The polymer-framed, striker-fired design has been the inspiration for some of the most popular pistols in the civilian, law enforcement, and military markets. Although the M17/M18 is standard across the military, Special Operations Command (SOCOM) has chosen to specify the Glock 19 as its pistol of choice. From Navy SEALs to Green Berets, Austrian designs are favored by special forces. However, this is not always the case. Special Forces needed some ingenuity to bring the Glock to SOCOM.

The Beretta M9 was adopted as the first part of the US Army in 1985 and has not changed through multiple Global War on Terrorism (GWOT).
