From Navy SEALs to Green Berets, Austrian designs are favored by special forces. However, this is not always the case. Special Forces needed some ingenuity to bring the Glock to SOCOM.

The Beretta M9 was adopted as the first part of the US Army in 1985 and has not changed through multiple Global War on Terrorism (GWOT).
